Every surgery center has to train its people every year, and surveyors ask to see the proof. ASC Central gives your center a complete mandatory education program, so you aren’t building the training yourself or chasing sign-in sheets when the surveyor arrives.
What the mandatory education program includes
Staff training
A full program for everyone on staff, presented one slide at a time, with a knowledge check at the end. An 80% score passes.
Provider training
A shorter program for your physicians and other providers. They review your center’s plans and policies and sign an attestation.
Your own documents
Your center’s policies and plans appear right in the program, so people learn your procedures, not someone else’s.
State-specific training
Training your state requires can be added for your center, in its own section of the program.
Certificates and records
Everyone who finishes gets a certificate. Training Records lets you filter by date and print or download what a surveyor asks for.
Orientation for new hires
New employees start on the same page, so orientation and the yearly round use one program and one set of records.

Your center’s administrator sets up mandatory education, adds your own documents and any state training, and tracks who has finished.
Mandatory education and everything listed above are included for $3,995 a year. That one fee covers your entire surgery center, not per person.

Centers that work with Ambulatory Healthcare Strategies (AHS) get a version of ASC Central built for AHS clients. AHS can set up the education for your center, or your own team can.
